Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how XYZ AI Inc. ("XYZ AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Peptidex website, iOS app, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

Depending on your usage and permissions, we may collect:

  • Account and profile data: Apple Sign In identifiers, email relay/address provided by Apple, subject identifiers, profile settings, and onboarding objectives.
  • App usage data: protocol plans, reminder preferences, peptide selections, research workspace selections, and interaction history.
  • Journal and health-adjacent entries: notes, symptom check-ins, progress logs, optional photos/attachments, and related metadata you choose to enter.
  • Community review data: usernames/display handles, ratings, review text, report submissions, and moderation/safety preferences (for example, hidden or blocked content).
  • Subscription and purchase metadata: subscription status, entitlements, and transaction state from billing partners (for example, Apple and RevenueCat). We do not receive full payment card numbers from Apple in standard in-app purchase flows.
  • Technical and diagnostic data: device type, app version, crash/error logs, timestamps, IP-derived network metadata, and anti-abuse telemetry.
  • Permissions-based data: if you grant permission, camera/photos access (for uploads/scans), notification/reminder access, and other OS-level permissions used by app features.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • provide core app functionality (planning, reminders, logs, research workflows, and reviews);
  • support account authentication, session continuity, and sync across devices;
  • process subscriptions and entitlement checks;
  • moderate community features and enforce safety rules;
  • respond to support requests and legal obligations; and
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

4. AI and Research Features

When you use research/chat features, prompts, selected context, and related metadata may be transmitted to third-party model providers and infrastructure partners to generate outputs and operate the feature.

Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for research/educational use only.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers/processors that help run the Services (for example, hosting/database, authentication, analytics, support, subscription management, and AI providers);
  • platform partners such as Apple for authentication, purchases, or permission-gated integrations;
  • other users when you publish community reviews or similar public-facing content; and
  • legal/transactional recipients when required by law, to protect rights/safety, or as part of a merger, financing, or acquisition.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type, account status, and operational/legal requirements.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may have rights under applicable law to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of certain personal data.

  • You can update certain profile settings in-app.
  • You can request account/data deletion by contacting support.
  • You can manage permissions (camera/photos/notifications/reminders) in device settings.

8. U.S. State Privacy Notices

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not knowingly "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in certain U.S. state privacy laws.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Use

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate.

12. Research and Educational Use Disclaimer

Peptidex is intended for research and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" and post the revised policy here.
